We are the B3 Network and we are here to talk about Soccer/Football from a fan's view. The beautiful game is a great way to make new friends, drink some spirits and beer, and above all.. enjoy talking about the beautiful game.
B3 Network makes the promise to our families that this is just a hobby, family is the most important thing in our lives and this Network and Podcast shows are just for fun, and a great excuse to talk soccer.
So we decided to start a podcast to share our view of the game. We will focus on talking about the leagues, transfer market, tournaments and all things soccer but with the fan's point of view. There are lots of other better shows out there that have better hosts, studios, editing, equipment, researchers, financial stability, headcount, etc., but all these shows miss the reach of what's going on at all mayor leagues of the world. We needed to listen to several shows/podcasts from multiple countries to be on top of what's going on in the game; so we decided to create this podcast in which we will talk about all the leagues near and dear to us.
One of the great things about the beautiful game is that everyone has a different view of the game, and they are all valid. People may like a defensive team, people may like possession, or counter attack, physical play, have short skilled players, or tall strong players, or only players from one country, or only players from one region in a country, play in the mornings, during the day, or evenings; but we all agree that playing is the great joy. And what better way of talking about it than with great buddies and great bourbon.
The recurrent hosts are:
- Jaime Nuñez who supports Pumas in Liga MX.
- Daniel Zimmer who supports Arsenal in EPL.
Podcasts will be posted in most mayor podcasts services (Apple, Google, Stitcher, TuneIn and Spotify).
Yours truly,
Jaime and Dan
As a Fan.... Episode #33: Other leagues set to return, Bayern’s big lead, and more.
This week we only have both host in the studio/home office. Talk about Liga MX canceling their season and La Liga, EPL and Serie A set to return middle of June and resume their season. We share out thoughts about the last two match days in Bundesliga, that included the Dortmund vs Bayern. We finish the episode with our MUST/MISS section where we suggest games that our listeners should follow during this international break... or not follow. And give a quick update on the points.
As a Fan.... Episode #01: Kick Start the Soccer Season
The B3 Network presents its new show hosted by Jaime Nuñez and Daniel Zimmer. In this show we will give a perspective to the sports "As a Fan..." we'll give thoughts on the sport that we like and discuss multiple different leagues that are starting in summer of 2019 (with MLS, Liga MX and Eredivisie already kicked off). We talk about the dealings in the transfer market that have closed in England, and the current state of what the team have to start the season in EPL. We talk about the Ligue 1 and Serie A having a one-team-league system in which there are no surprises on who is going to win. We discuss the standing in MLS and Liga MX in which surprisingly we agree that an LA team will win MLS, and that a Monterrey team will win Liga MX. Back in Europe, we talk about the change of power in Bundesliga with Dortmund making a run for the League; and agree that Barcelona will keep the La Liga title and finally conquer Champions League. We close out the episode by talking about EPL teams just as the season started. We have different outcome in the League winner but agree that Arsenal will return to Champions League.
